Despina Giannadaki, MSc

Mrs. Despina Giannadaki received her BSc in Physics in 2004 and MSc in Environmental Sciences in 2007 from the University of Crete. She then moved to Germany, where she worked as junior researcher at the Atmospheric Chemistry department of the Max Planck Institute for Chemistry, studying the aerosol climate interactions at a global scale. Between 2012 and 2017 she worked as research assistant at the Energy, Environment and Water Research Centre of The Cyprus Institute, where her research focused in the area of environmental health, the impacts of air pollution to human health, the environmental policies and the socioeconomic effects of the air pollution. Seeking for a new career where she could combine her expertise with business, she obtained an MBA from the University of Cyprus in 2018. During her MBA studies she had the opportunity to collaborate with several companies nationally and internationally.
