Stylianos Bitharis, MSc, PhD

Mr. Stylianos Bitharis holds a MSc degree in Geoinformatics with specialization in Modern Geodetic applications and a PhD in Satellite Geodesy from the Department of Geodesy and Surveying (Faculty of Engineering, School of Rural and Surveying Engineering) at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. His PhD research is related to GNSS data analysis with scientific software packages, geodetic velocity estimation, and their implementation in Geodetic Reference Frames. Since 2013, he is a member of the GNSS QC research team and works on topics of Advanced GNSS tropospheric products for monitoring severe weather events and climate.He has participated as a scientific associate in major European projects as EPOS, BeRTISS and HELPOS project at Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. Currently, he is the principal software engineer in CLOUDWATER.
